Backpacking Cranberry Pistachio White Chocolate Bark

Light, festive, and easy to pack, this no-cook bark features creamy white chocolate, tart cranberries, and crunchy pistachios. A perfect treat for the trail or post-dinner in camp.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup pistachios shelled and chopped
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp orange zest

Instructions

  • Line a tray or plate with parchment or wax paper.
  • Melt white chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  • Spread melted chocolate into a rough rectangle on the lined tray.
  • Sprinkle cranberries, pistachios, orange zest, and sea salt evenly over chocolate.
  • Chill in camp cooler (or cold creek) 10 minutes until firm.
  • Break into shards to serve.

Notes

This is a great treat to make in the morning for snacking later. Bark stays solid in a cold pack or bear can on the trail.
