Equipment

  • Campfire grate
  • Grill tongs
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless skinless chicken breast cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 4 pieces large flour tortillas
  • 4 slices bacon cooked crisp and chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Lightly oil your campfire grate and heat over medium campfire coals.
  • Toss chicken strips with olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Grill chicken over direct heat, turning frequently, until cooked through and charred, about 8–10 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine grilled chicken, chopped romaine, Caesar dressing, Parmesan, bacon, and lemon juice. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Warm tortillas briefly on the grill until soft.
  • Spoon the chicken mixture down the center of each tortilla and wrap tightly.
  • Serve immediately or wrap in foil for a trail-ready lunch.

Notes

Grill bacon first in a cast iron skillet over the fire if not cooked ahead. For easier cleanup, assemble wraps on parchment paper and roll up for packability. Store dressing in a small leak-proof container in your cooler.
