Canyon Watermelon Lime Hydrator

A vibrant, hydrating watermelon and lime drink for desert or summer camps—quick to make, electrolyte-boosted, and ultra-refreshing for hot afternoons or after strenuous hikes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups watermelon cubed, seedless
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice fresh
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt optional, for electrolytes
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional, to taste
  • 1/2 cup ice for serving

Instructions

  • Muddle watermelon cubes in a sturdy cup or jug to release juices.
  • Add lime juice, cold water, sea salt, and honey if using.
  • Stir well, pour over ice, and serve immediately.
  • For a smoother drink, strain through a mesh if available.

Notes

Freeze watermelon cubes for use as ice and hydration. Salt is optional but great for rehydration after hot hikes.
