Cascadian Blackberry Fizz

A celebratory berry drink inspired by the Pacific Northwest, using muddled blackberries, lemon, and fizzy water for tart, natural flavor—an excellent thirst-quencher after a forest hike.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries plus extra for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 2 cups sparkling water chilled
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • Muddle blackberries with lemon juice and maple syrup in the bottom of each glass.
  • Add ice, then top with sparkling water.
  • Stir gently, garnish with a few berries, and serve.
  • Enjoy immediately for peak fizz.

Notes

Frozen blackberries work well and keep drinks extra cold. Perfect for berry season camps and easy to prep on the go.
