Ingredients
8slicesrustic bread
3tbspbuttersoftened
8slicesdeli turkey breast
4slicesSwiss cheese

Instructions
Butter one side of each bread slice.
Spread Dijon on the other side of four slices. Layer turkey, Swiss cheese, bacon, and apple slices on top. Top with remaining bread, buttered side out.
Heat cast iron skillet over medium campfire heat. Place sandwiches in skillet and press with a spatula or another skillet.
Cook 4–5 minutes per side until bread is golden and cheese melts. Rotate for even toasting.
If needed, tent with foil to help cheese melt.
Slice panini and serve hot.
Notes
Cook bacon beforehand or on a campfire skillet before assembling sandwiches. Wrap pressed sandwiches in foil to keep them warm while others cook. Press with a second skillet or heavy lid for the best crunch.
