Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 shots bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  • Set pot over campfire or coals. Add water, sliced ginger, and cinnamon stick. Simmer for 5-6 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Stir in honey, lemon juice, and bourbon.
  • Strain hot toddy into mugs. Garnish with a twist of orange peel and serve warm.
