Fire-Roasted Spicy Edamame Pods
Whole edamame pods tossed with chili salt and flash-roasted in a skillet over the fire for a protein-rich, finger-licking snack.

frozen edamame in pods

tablespoon
olive oil

teaspoon
sea salt
1/2
teaspoon
chili flakes

teaspoon
garlic powder
Instructions
Add olive oil to the skillet and heat over medium campfire coals.
Toss in frozen edamame, salt, chili flakes, and garlic powder.
Roast for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pods are blistered and hot.
Serve warm—pop beans out of pods as you eat.
Notes
Edamame cooks fast, so watch the heat. Pods travel well in a cooler and require almost no prep.
