Foil Packet Cinnamon Roll-Ups

Flaky crescent roll dough coated with cinnamon sugar and rolled up, these nifty treats bake right inside foil packets by the fire for a sweet, gooey reward at camp. Perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for optional drizzle

Instructions

  • Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Unroll crescent dough, separate triangles. Brush each with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • Roll up from the wide end, tucking in sides slightly. Place each roll on a piece of foil and wrap tightly, sealing edges.
  • Arrange foil packets on hot campfire coals. Bake 12-14 minutes, rotating packets halfway, until rolls are puffed and golden.
  • Remove and let cool a few minutes before unwrapping. Optionally, mix a little water into powdered sugar and drizzle over warm rolls.
