Maple Ginger Trail Electrolyte Elixir

A hydrating blend of ginger, real maple syrup, lemon, and a pinch of salt—lightweight and perfect for replenishing lost electrolytes after a long trek.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger finely grated, or 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt for electrolytes

Instructions

  • Pour filtered water into bottle. Add maple syrup, ginger, lemon juice, and sea salt.
  • Seal and shake until all ingredients are dissolved.
  • Sip along the trail for rehydration and flavor.
  • Rinse bottle immediately after use.

Notes

Maple syrup and ginger powder are lightweight and pack well. Use fresh ginger only if packing a grater. Great for long-distance hikers and summer camps.
