2cupsfiltered water
1tablespoonmaple syrup
1/2teaspoonfresh gingerfinely grated, or 1/4 tsp ginger powder
1tablespoonlemon juice
1/8teaspoonsea saltfor electrolytes
Instructions
Pour filtered water into bottle. Add maple syrup, ginger, lemon juice, and sea salt.
Seal and shake until all ingredients are dissolved.
Sip along the trail for rehydration and flavor.
Rinse bottle immediately after use.
Notes
Maple syrup and ginger powder are lightweight and pack well. Use fresh ginger only if packing a grater. Great for long-distance hikers and summer camps.
