Moroccan Spiced Orange Blossom Tea

A North African inspired tea, blending black tea, orange zest, cinnamon, and a splash of orange blossom water for a fragrant, sweetly spiced camp drink.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags black tea or 4 tsp loose leaf
  • 1 strip orange zest about 2 inches
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange blossom water

Instructions

  • Bring water to a gentle boil on campfire grate.
  • Add tea bags, orange zest, cinnamon, and honey.
  • Steep for 5 minutes, then remove tea and strain out solids.
  • Stir in orange blossom water just before serving and pour into cups.

Notes

Orange blossom water is potent—start with less and increase to taste. Brew over the fire for extra atmosphere on cool desert nights.
