oat milk
or other plant-based milk

cocoa powder

sugar
or maple syrup

fresh mint leaves
wild or cultivated, rinsed

Instructions
Add oat milk and mint leaves to a pot, heat gently over campfire until just steaming.
Whisk in cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Simmer 5 minutes, remove mint leaves.
Pour into mugs and serve steaming hot.
Notes
Mint can be foraged responsibly or packed from home. Oat milk is shelf-stable until opened—great for camp kitchens.
