Campfire Grilled Banana Boats with Nutella & Berries

Whole bananas grilled in their skins and stuffed with Nutella, chocolate, and fresh berries. This classic camp treat is melty, customizable, and fun for all ages, with barely any cleanup.

  • Heavy-duty aluminum foil
  • Knife

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas unpeeled
  • 1/3 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • Slice each banana lengthwise through the peel, but not all the way through. Gently open to form a pocket.
  • Stuff each banana with a spoonful of Nutella, a handful of berries, chocolate chips, and marshmallows.
  • Wrap each banana tightly in foil, sealing ends.
  • Place wrapped bananas directly onto campfire coals. Grill for 8-10 minutes, rotating occasionally, until chocolate is melted and bananas are soft.
  • Use tongs to remove. Let cool for 2 minutes, then open foil and eat right out of the peel with a spoon.
