Thinly sliced beef, crisp broccoli, and sweet bell peppers cook in a quick teriyaki glaze—all sealed in foil and roasted over the fire for a savory, Asian-inspired lunch without the stir-fry mess.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces flank steak thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup red bell pepper sliced
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Build a bed of hot embers in the campfire.
  • Toss beef, broccoli, and bell pepper with teriyaki, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pepper.
  • Divide between two foil sheets, fold and seal.
  • Place on embers and roast 15–18 minutes, turning once, until beef is cooked and veggies are crisp-tender.
  • Open foil carefully and serve with instant rice if desired.

Notes

Slice beef thin before leaving home for faster cooking. Foil packets keep the cleanup minimal and lock in juicy flavors.
