Prep Time: 1-30m
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients

  • Any kind of Sausage
  • 2 Cans of white or pinto beans
  • 1 spoonful of tomato paste
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bottle of beer!

Instructions

Take your favorite camping pot and heat up some oil. Add diced onions and cook until translucent. At the same time, cook the sausage directly on the grill or on a stick.

Tip – cook some extra sausage, pack in foil and eat the next day for breakfast or on the trail!

Add the undrained beans to the pot and cook until they start to boil. Add beer a little at a time, stirring until the stew gets thick. Add the tomato paste (and any salt/pepper to taste). Stir again and then add the cooked and sliced sausage.
