Ingredients
- 5 1/2 cups water
- 4 cups extra long grain rice
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 tsp garam masal spice blend
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup yellow raisins
Instructions
Bring water to boil. While water heats, rinse the rice.
Stir rice into boiling water. Add all of the remaining ingredients. Return water to boil. Reduce heat and cover.
Stir and simmer until most of the liquid is absorbed.
Off the heat and allow rice to rest for 10 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
