Ingredients
- 10 carrots
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts
- 2 tbl spoons butter
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup honey
- salt/pepper to taste
Instructions
Strip carrots of clothing and chop off their heads! Slice as thin as possible and steam for about 15-20 min. Heat butter and honey over very low heat. Remove carrots and place in bowl with the heated sweetness. Crush the cashews in your hand and sprinkle on top. Salt/pepper to taste. Excelllent recipe for hungry hikers who are low on nutrition. Serve hot.
