Serves: 5-6
Prep Time: 1-30m
Difficulty: easy
Backpacking: No

Ingredients

  • 2 to 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle of favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 can cherry Coke
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • butter or oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Warm up your dutch oven or large pan over a direct fire or burner (if over a direct fire, try to regulate the heat). With a little oil or butter saute the garlic until golden. Pour in the coke and half the bottle of BBQ sauce (use more later if the mixture appears runny). Place chicken in the mix and thoroughly submerge. Cover and cook for 30 to 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Serve with instant rice. Use the extra BBQ sauce as desired.
