Ingredients

  • 2 Large cans Beans
  • 1 Package of Hot Dogs
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 8 Slices Bacon
  • 1 Hot Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Salt

Instructions

Dice up onions. Place slices of bacon on foil over campfire*. Do not overcook, and turn as needed. Dump beans in pot along with all other ingredients except hotdogs and bacon. Simmer over campfire, and stir frequently to prevent burning. While beans are cooking, put hotdogs on grill. When hotdogs are done, cut into 1/2 inch lengths, place in pot and stir. Place bacon slices over top of beans. Let sit over fire for about 15 minutes and keep stirring.

* Can also be made using a frying pan and pot on a campstove.
