Back at camp, a cold drink matters. Trailhead Orange Cardamom Iced Tea makes the rounds fast once boots come off and the tailgate drops—deep black tea cooled down with bright orange and a quiet hit of cardamom that tastes right after a hot trail.
It fits real camping rhythms, whether you brew it at home before you roll out or steep it on a stove while you’re setting up. Chill it however you can: buried in ice, tucked into a creek, or parked in the shade beside the cooler. Orange wheels keep the jug smelling fresh as the ice melts, and a few crushed cardamom pods add a warm, lightly resinous edge that plays well with camp air without turning sweet.
Cleanup stays easy with one pot and one bottle or jar. Pour over ice, drop in an extra orange slice, and you’ve got something refreshing to sip while you sort firewood, swap trail stories, and wait for dinner.
