Ingredients
- 6 apples, cored
- 3 T. butter
- 6 T. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. nut topping mix (chopped nuts)
- Cinnamon
- 6 refrigerator biscuits
Instructions
Core the apples completely. Mix butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Divide equally between apples and stuff into the center. Peel refrigerator biscuits into 2 layers and place tightly over the holes on either end of the apples.
Turn the apples sideways onto a double layer of foil and gather foil at the top of the packet (no seams in the bottom of foil).
Bake in coals for about 1/2 hour, until dough is baked and apples are soft.
