Ingredients

  • Flour 1 1/2 cups
  • Water 1 3/4 cups
  • Lard 1 cup
  • Cheese 3/4 cup
  • Or
  • Mixed Berries 1 cup

Instructions

Mix the flour and water together and let them set for about 20-30 minutes. Boil the lard and mix it with the lard and water stir them until it’s smooth. Cook the batter by pouring the batter onto the pan and cooking it for about 7 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool, Melt the cheese or if you are using berries grind them until they are paste like. Then poor/spread the cheese/berries on to the bannock and enjoy!
