Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (browned, drained, and seasoned with taco package)
  • Sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Chunky Salsa
  • Flour tortilla shells

Instructions

Spray the pie iron with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Line one side of the pie iron with a flour tortilla shell. Top with meat, cheese, and salsa. You may add any of your favorite taco ingredients. Top with another flour tortilla shell. (You can also use one large flour tortilla shells and fold over the ingredients). Shut and secure the pie iron and tear off any tortilla shell sticking out of the pie iron. Cook slowly over hot coals or on a campfire tripod; turn occasionally and cook until hot. Enjoy!
