Ingredients

  • 1 all-beef hot dog, cut into pieces
  • 1 small potato, cut into chunks
  • 1 tb oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Spread the inside of a small camping pot with the oil. Arrange ingredients inside in an even layer and put the lid on the pot. Place in the hollow on the inside of a pyramid-style campfire and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring once.

Any kind of hot dogs may be used, but all-beef cooks the most evenly in this setting. Excellent for limited ingredients and short time. Recipe may be mulitplied to serve many hobos.
