- sunflower seeds
Instructions
To gather pine nuts, shake trees and the nuts will fall from the pine cones–or scout around for them on the ground.You can also use sunflower seeds for this.Roast them in a pan or pot over a hot fire–stirring constantly so that they don't burn.To shuck or hull the seed covers, place the hot seeds between two damp cloths and roll slightly or twist.
