Ingredients
- 1 pasta/cheese sauce pack
- 1 tin whole tomatoes
- 1 tin Kipper Fillets
- Dehydrated green beans
- salt
Instructions
"I regularly cook this meal on a single burner hiking stove".
In small pot – prepare beans and salt according to instructions on packet but do not put on stove yet.
In large pot – mix and begin to cook pasta according to ?side dish? instructions on back of packet.
When pasta comes to the boil remove from heat. Add beans to heat and bring to boil then remove and cover with lid. Alternate beans and pasta with heat remembering to stir pasta regularly.
About half way though cooking cycle, add tomato to heat either in medium pot or in tin with lid opened and label removed. Alternate tomatoes with beans and pasta to heat.
When pasta is cooked to desired softness, remove from heat and allow to stand while reheating other ingredients. Pasta sauce will thicken on standing.
Open Kippers tin and drain a small amount of liquid to avoid overflowing. Apply to small flame for a short period of time allowing them to warm. No need to cook them as they are already cooked.
Serve all ingredients separately on plates or mix together in pots.
Enjoy your meal.
